A global luxury automobile manufacturer, having started its India operations recently, was keen to add impetus to its local presence. They were seeking to establish a set of Human Resource Management standards for their dealers to ensure alignment to the global organization’s ethos and build a quality team of partners.

The Inqubex team suggested an approach to establish an integrated Human Resource framework for the dealers to drive consistency in policy and process. We carried out a study across all dealerships and mapped the “”as-is”” state of HR. We also studied the internal best practices across the globe for the company and designed a comprehensive set of HR Standards for the dealers. The elements of the dealer HR standards included standard organization structures and hierarchy, position specifications for roles in sales and service, compensation levels, assessment formats for hiring as well as appraisals, competencies required at each level and a comprehensive set of HR policies.
The dealership standards have become a part of the dealership contracts and uniform adherence is now a standard expectation from all retail partners.
