One of India’s fast growing offshore developers in the education and learning space was keen to establish clear accountabilities and drive superior performance of its leadership team in line with its growth strategy. The organization also wanted to map existing and required leadership competencies to proactively tailor development in light of future plans.
The Inqubex team worked jointly with the leadership to reiterate the vision of the organization, map strategies for the future and define critical success factors. Using the balanced scorecard design approach, an organization level scorecard was developed. This was cascaded and the KPIs for each member of the leadership aligned to the business objectives were defined. The client is currently in the 1st cycle of the BSC rollout and Inqubex is supporting the collation of performance data and linking it to variable pay.
Further, using a behavioral event interview based approach; past success factors were analyzed to identify the determinants of success in the organization. Based on these inputs, the expected leadership competencies were defined and validated with the client. A peer feedback process was implemented to seek feedback on the leadership competencies for each leadership team member and individual development reports and IDPs were put together.
