A leading transnational Medical Devices company was keen to develop a functional competency framework for its India Sales team as a basis for hiring and development.
We worked with the India leadership and a panel of experts from the India sales team to define competencies. These were pegged to each position in the function and the first use of competencies was for internal Talent Reviews.
The India sales talent reviews were conducted successfully and the client was able to identify individual learning needs. Based on the success of the program, the APAC leadership of the client asked Inqubex to carry out a similar exercise for the regional marketing team, which was carried out successfully through definition of functional competencies, identification of capability gaps in the existing organization structure and mapping specification of new positions to be hired.
